My Test

    This is my first post... I was just wondering about passing a drug test.
    I started smoking maybe in mid July and did it maybe about 15 times. Sometimes twice a day. I quit smoking on August 10th and I have a drug test coming up between September 7-16. I can choose the day. I was wondering if I drink like 3 bottles of water a day and cranberry juice and I go to the bathroom like 4 time or more a day will I be okay for my test?

    To be honest, I wouldn't stress it as much as you are. That's a fair chunk of time away, and if you stay clean 'til then you shouldn't have any problems passing the test. Don't dilute your urine too much either, that's a red flag for any legitimate test.

    I hope I pass haha I am just worried that's all. I don't exercise either so I don't really sweat. So that's why I was wondering too.

    i actually did some research about u.a.'s and most places if it's too diluted they'll say the sample's no good and just make you take another one. but with the time frame this guys has to take the test there's no reason to do that...it'd be more of like a "fuck man, i have to do SOMETHING" when you know you'll fail a u.a. but ya, you have plenty of time.

    i agree. keep clean and do it the latest you can, and youll be fine. id still drink water alot starting now, untill the day before the test. taking cranberry extract cant hurt. try to excersise. but even doing nothing youd probably be fine, but if you do what i said, you should be golden. if youre real worried go take a home test before you take the real one.

    just curious...what is the test for? that time frame of getting to pick your day sounds strange to me. but then again i only know about ua's i've had to take.

    It's just for a class at school (college credit) and we get to job shadow at a hospital.

    Okay so it's almost time for my test, and I took a home drug test I bought from walmart. The drug line is supposed to be a line for a negative result, and I got a faint line. I think this means I passed. I bought more on ebay, took one and there was barely a line if any at all... which I think means I failed. I just took another one now and got a faint line, which I think means I passed. lol
    So, i'm just curious if my test (from a hospital, just like an employee would have to take) will show trace amounts in my pee? I have not smoked since August 10th, but have been around it maybe 3 times in between.

    Hopefully, I'm just nervous because I'm scared the hospital does lab testing or something since it's for a job there.

    Okay so I am kind of failing my home tests! I'm so nervous, I haven't smoked for a month and almost a week! The line is sooooo pale you can barely see it, and it's supposed to be a line. I really hope I pass, are these cheap home tests accurate... am I stressing too much?

    Took the test today, looks like their sending it to Clinical Reference Laboratory. Idk, sounds big and like an extensive search. lol
    Nervous. :/

    dont sweat it dude all you have to do is drink 3 or 4 bottles of water an hour or two before the test and get some vitamin b2 to keep ur piss yellow. Ive passed tons of drug tests this way, never failing. You can even smoke up until the day of the test if you're the ballsy type. Just make sure your piss isnt clear. You can also drink a ton of water and then down a couple of sunny d's to make ur piss yellow. It works every time. Oh yeah and youll probably be naturally clean one week after smoking if ur skinny cuz im pretty skinny and smoked twice a day for a month until a week before my test and passed without doin anything at all.

    i bought one of those home tests with the faint line...i bought it last week and failed because there was barely a line..i did the test last week and i havent smoked since aug 18 Wtf!

    Well, I took my test on the 16th... haven't heard anything yet, so I think maybe I passed?
    And... I was going to wait to smoke, but I gave up and smoked last night. :)
    It was great, I almost forgot what it was like.

    You probably passed, BUT you should always wait until you know for sure. If it's very marginal sometimes they'll retest. Normally they get the results within 3 days though. You *probably* would have heard something if you'd failed or if it was borderline.

    I know I should have waited :( But, the class starts in a few days and we start going to the hospital this coming week. So I don't think they'd have the option to retest because of time limits.
