My taproot color has slightly changed to yellow

    No you're fretting, put it in some soil or something and let it grow for a couple of days.

    For how many days i should be waiting for it to sprout. Its already 3 days that I planted it

    Just stick it in the dirt and wait. Nothing else you can really do at this point

    It is prolly busy making a root(s) and preparing for the big breakout thru the soil..
    BTW: how deep did you plant her?
