  1. Hi! So 1 month ago I was with my friends which are experienced with weed, and we did edibles together, I’m not experienced at all with weed or edibles. I first ate half of the gummy and after 30 mins I realized I was totally sober so I ate the rest of it. Some time passed and I had my first trip. I was very scared because I didn’t expect it to be the way it was and because i was scared that triggered myself into a badtrip (I think that’s what you call it) I had many panic attacks, I didn’t have control of my body (I felt like I was out of my body), I made paranoid thoughts and I was shaking. That happened 4 times and luckily my boyfriend took care of me (he was sober). Nearly one month has passed now and some of the symptoms didn’t passed. I sometimes feel very dizzy for 10 mins and then I’m good, or like totally “disconnect” from reality for 3 seconds and then struggle with anxiety because of it. I never had problems with panic attacks and never experienced before the badtrip. Now I fear that if I become a little bit more anxious or stressed I’ll end up having a panic attack again. I mean for sure I’m getting better each day but with very very very small steps. Is this normal? Do I need to see a doctor? Thanks for reading :))

  2. There is such a thing as a self fulfilling prophecy. If you're worried about more panic attacks and bad trips, you're more than likely to have one. I've noticed over the years that there is kind of a dichotomy of people I meet when it comes to tolerance of cannabis. There are some people who just don't tolerate it well whatsoever. On the other hand, we have our bottomless pits of cannabinoids that can eat 50 gummies and hold a stakeholder meeting.

What you're feeling isn't normal. There are 'comedowns' associated with high doses of edibles, but it's more or less feeling fuzzy and a little slow in the morning after. There shouldn't be symptoms after a day or two. Then again, you're citing a single gummy but we don't know the dosage.

There's always the chance of misattribution. You had a significant experience that seems like could be causing these other symptoms. It's not always the case. Dizziness is the symptom of like forty billion ailments. The older I get, the more effective going from winter to spring seems to cause problems. Just silly shit makes me feel really strange.

For what it's worth, I don't think you're a bottomless pit of cannabinoids. You shouldn't take them anymore if this is how it makes you feel. If you want to try again, you need to go in realizing all of it will end and the effects are because you just took drugs. Like I said, some people aren't suitable for cannabinoids or other psychedelics and it sounds like you may fall in that category.

I fall into the category of a bottomless pit for cannabinoids/psychedelics. I've done huge doses of mushrooms and huge doses of cannabis without any long lasting effects or anxiety. I've had experiences with people in the past who take a single hit and 100% geek out. It doesn't work for everyone.
