So about a month and a half ago my husband and I were helping our friends move and there was this whole litter of kittens about 7 to 8 weeks old maybe alittle bit older, they're all skittish as hell, but my husband winds up coaxing one of them but playing with a string from my badge for work, and the kitty just sits in my husbands lap and chills there for a good 10 minutes, then we see momma and shes staring at us but no making a move and eventually just walks away. I begged James (my husband) to keep him, he gives in and I already had a name for this little kitty...Alfred. Having Alfred now, theres one thing he loves more than his food, SMOKING! Whenever me and James are chilling and smoking he'll jump up on our laps and be in our face the whole time! it's super funny to watch and after we smoke, he usually posts up on the couch and sleeps until one of us get up then he wants to eat again (we feed the cats on top of the fridge or our puppy will eat all of their food) ...never knew cats could get the munchies, lmao! He feel asleep in his food bowl... **we dont do this on purpose, we've removed him from the surroundings multiple times but he always comes back and sits in our laps.
we dont purposely get him high, we constantly put him on the floor and shoo him away, a couple of times we took him to our bedroom and left him in there but he always comes back.
I knew I forgot something in the post haha, yeah hes a cool little dude, hes kinda sick though. our puppy & older female cat took good care of him. I always say we should of named him Smokey instead of Alfred.
Haha my grandfather has a cat named Smokey. Different shades of grey throughout its fur, very good looking cat Coulda named him 50 Shades of Grey....
I have a fat cat named Dante, he eats and sleeps all day and constantly talks to us, and enjoys belly rubs. Then theres Shadow (Shadow Ninja, named by my husband) and she absolutely hates being kissed by me but doesn't mind James (husband) kissing her, shes the hunter of flies and lets Dante eat them, and shes been such a good mommy figure to little Alfred these two are actually from the same liter, their mom was feral as well.
very good looking cats personally I'm more of a dog person. I think cats look awesome but idk, a lot of cats I've seen are not personable at all and don't seem to want anything to do with you haha

well the only cat I ever had we got when I was 6. She was a kitty and just kinda grew up with me. I agree cats are a lot colder to strangers than dogs, but they can be very loving to their owners. Also they are much more independent so that may have something to do with it too
Dante definitely acts like a dog but both of my cats will hide if theres company over. I got a puppy on 4/20 Her name is Roxy and shes a German shepherd / lab mix. this way a little over a month ago. shes much bigger now.

Dont let her cuteness fool you, shes evil and constantly messes with all the cats and eats cat poop and tears up towels, you know typical bad puppy acts.
