My seedlings look terrible :(

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Belfast, Aug 28, 2011.

  1. All of them have some discoloration, and all I am using is water.

Does this look indicitive of a lack of water? Or something chemical in the water? Please halp!

maybe its because your growing it in cotton? idk I'm not no expert grower but even i don't think that is a good idea. cotton wool is only meant as a germination method not as a growing medium. once the seed has cracked and the root tip pops out you should move the seed into its medium with a pair of tweezers. uuuh ohh!

the leaves of the seedlings will normally discolor when they are young as the plants plant will focus on the new growth and that is what matters.

  3. It is in the media, Im using Sure to Grow, which supposedly works fine?

The only thing that could be in the water than I can think of is some silicone adhesive I used to glue black plastic to the inside of the lid to lightproof it. I gave it almost 3 days to cure, and it's supposed to be water proof though.
