my seedlings are super wrinkly and withered

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by jasem, Nov 27, 2018.

  1. friends here have told me that I overwatered them. and in the recent week, I have watered it once every 2 day, when the medium is near to being completely dry.
I thought it might be the aeration since I didn't use any perlite. I tried to make holes in the medium with toothpicks later.
I planted them in peatmoss, the pack says the peatmoss ph is 6.5.
they couldn't be nutrient deficient at this stage could they? should I feed them any thing?
I wonna repott them later in coco, I am getting tired of peatmoss and soil.

Any idea as to what is causing the wrinklyness?

I am thinking of making a grow box for them for their veg state, since I want to put my other adult girls in flowering mode and I only have one grow room. seems like a fuckin herculean task though:confused:.

  2. Your plants are not getting nutes use mirical grow soil.and put them under a florescent light.deffenitly repot !!

  3. they dont have miracle grow here where I live. What nutes u think I should feed them? regular veg npk? micro nutrients? cal-mag?
I've never had a problem with LED lights. I dont think that is the problem

  4. You have to find another medium for your plants, dont think about nutes until you chage them out,go to a weed supply store I know they have one where you live unless you live in the jungle

  5. Gonna guess the roots do not enjoy how much water that moss holds. Causing them to look over watered.

  6. Have you been feeding any nutes? Peat is inert so you need to feed everytime. Perlite is you’re missing link as well, 30-50% will eliminate overwatering.

I believe in two methods of growing. Hydroponically and organically. In hydroponics, you supply all the nutrition to your plants with bottled or powdered nutes and there’s many different ways and mediums.

Then there’s organics, where you feed the soil and use different microbes to break down this food and turn it into food for the plants. This is an art but will produce some clean medicine at a sacrifice of yield

You can use hydro nutes in soil too but that’s about the least efficient way to grow

  7. The only hydro I've done is clones lol. Listen to above.

  10. I have always used peatmoss for the seedling stage. didn't have nute deficiency issues like this in the past.
Do u suggest using deluded veg nutes on this seedlings?

  11. I feed about 200-250 ppms from sprout. 30 ml around the perimeter of a solo cup twice a day for 5-7 days. Ph 5.7-6.3

  12. these are panted in coco right?
isn't watering twice a day too much?
I am still ppm illiterate. If I use 0.2 grams per 1 liter it makes 200ppms right?
which fertilizer should I use? I have 3-1-1 for veg. cal-mag? I also have a micro fertilizer which contains auxin, gibbereline, amino, sea weed bunch o other stuff. should I use that?

  13. Royal Gold Tupur
Twice a day isn’t too much. Could feed them a dozen times a day this way if I had time.
Ppm is determined by ppm meter
I’m not familiar with your Nutes
You should have a base nutrient with supplements like silica, humic acid, and a pk boost in flower like Flower Fuel
I’d feed a 1/4 strength from what they recommend to seedlings

  14. Sorry op i have a quick question about this.. S2C you give flower fuel ($18 off Amazin) to seedlings??

  15. No, but I use in my cloner very diluted. The same pk boost is used in root development as well as flower development.

  16. FORGET Miracle grow - They will burn the shit out of your plants

  17. Can i use flower fuel to water clones after replanting??

  18. You could. A rooting supplement like roots excellerator would be better but flower Fuel shouldn’t hurt. Lightly dosed

  19. I was thinking, can I pour a little vericompost on top o the pots and when I water it, it would go down and provide some nutes for the seedlings. Can I do that?
I can not afford any of these fancy seedling fertilizers, most of them are not available here in the middle east anyway.
