My seedlings are above soil...how far to put light?

    Have two seedlings that are now a frw inches above the soil with 4 tiny leaves on them. I have a 150w hps...how close should the light be? I had it a few feet away and they look wilty lookin...what distance?

    Depends on the temps. You can go as close as 8" or so as long as they dont get too hot.

    get a small $$store fan and have it blow right below the bulb. put it as close as you want. heat from a 150w is minimal imo.
