Ok this is my second run first run I did white widow Also an autoflower and two bag seeds. The bag seed both turned out male and for the white widow yielded alittle over 35 grams I could have yielded more but I forgot to calibrate my ph pen from the start and started to get deficiencies at the end during the swelling stage. Ok now let's get to business for this grow I'm running (2)Girlscout cookies auto flower by fast buds (2)3 gallon PVC grow bags (white) (1)4x2x6 grow tent (2)clip on fans (1)4 inch carbon filter and fan (1)150 watt led light Fox farm ocean forest soil And when I get my money I'm going to buy (1) Mars hydro 300 watt led light Fox farm trio nutes My plants are doing great so far they are now 9 days from seed I have only watered them every three days with distilled water here is some pics a few days ago And here are some pics from yesterday I hope I get way more from this run the first was an ice breaker for me I will be updating probably every 5 days or maybe more depending on if I add anything to the closet or if anything happens to my girls and every comment is welcome cause I am by no means a pro I am still learning like everyone else thanks!!!!
They look great so far. Might I suggest EWC, Perlite, and Dolomite to help your girls thrive. Check Out My Grow: http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1385308-new-grow-multi-strain-seedsman-royal-queens-unknown.html
Don't waste your time with distilled water. Use tap water. There are lots of things in it the plants use and like and the treatment plants don't use the type chlorine anymore that evaporates out. I've been using it straight from the tap for 2 years now and have never had prettier plants. It's always good to check your base ppm with a tester pen since if it's way out it can knock your nutrients out of whack. They're less than $20 and money well spent IMO. Make sure you give your girls plenty of room and light for the flower cycle. You can harvest more off one plant that is well taken care of than you can 3 or 4 that didn't get everything they need. Good luck with these. TWW
yea I have a ppm reader it came with my ph reader do I have to calibrate it or is it fine cause my ph meter was off for the first grow and my water is good straight out the tap but I like to use just distilled water for the first two or three weeks to avoid any problems
Ok sorry I've been working late and haven't had any time to post anything but here is some pics of my plants two days ago and some pics I took yesterday Two days ago Yesterday
EWC is great stuff... coco coair too. Water is KEY... A pinch of the dolomite lime help keep ph balanced... but you have meters... 6.5 - 7.0 is good. I bought a cheap moister reader... helps me from over watering... try not to nute yer babies... they say 6 weeks. I grow organic... but add fish fertilizer in veg... then a fish MORBLOOM during flowering
Ok my girls are now 2 weeks from seed I've noticed that I haven't been giving them enough water the tips of my biggest auto is showing burnt tips I have not been giving them any nutes just distilled water but last night I made sure I had a nice run off of water.before I was scared of overwatering and just Been giving them light watering with no run off but hopefully that fix the problem do you guys think that will stunt my auto and hurt my final yield or is it ok now? And here's a full view of them
I added another led light to the closet it's the mars hydro 300 watt led I set the led over my biggest auto 24 inches above the canopy to give it time to adjust and for the other led it's 14 inches about the canopy of my other auto the temp went up after putting in the 300watt led I might have to buy another fan to help with air flow and the high heat
Ok I have been slacking lately and haven't been posting but here's an update my autos got a light burning from the soil being to hot but they are still hanging in there here is my biggest one Gsc-B and here is the other one Gsc-A it didn't cross my mind at first that fox farm ocean forest soil is hot to some autos but I know now to use happy frog soil instead hopefully it didn't stunt my girls to much
Here's some pics of my plants from last night after their first nute feeding of fox farm grow big and big bloom I think they have recovered from the nute burn so I'm going to be lst both of them to get the most out of my girls
i love the marshydro 300w. ive got 5 of them for veg light and use for side lighting. using 2 of them to flower 2 girls as my own control against a 600w hps. i have 2 of the 150w marshydro led's and i think they are good for absolutely nothing. mabye seedlings. maybe. not sure why i got them, bored i guess
Ok this is my plants few days after Gsc-a Ok and this is my other girl Gsc-b the biggest one started to grow outwards so I let it so I can have more plant to lst
This is two days after Gsc-a Gsc-b And this is another four days sorry I've been busy and couldn't post so I snapped some pics to share Gsc-a Gsc-b
Lol sorry guys your almost caught up this is from three days ago it is a big improvement I also bust the ladies down and did some more lst to shine light to the other shoots and the are also poping out some nice long pistils Gsc-a Gsc-b Here are shots of both of them the Gsc-a is small compared to Gsc-b which is just turning into a bush which is always good
