This is why I don't keep my weed or related items in my room. I like to put it in a bag somewhere. Luckily for me my parents aren't nosey so I don't really worry about them finding my stuff.
Sounds brilliant man, wish mine were like that. When I was younger my parents did that to me, I had a suspicion they'd go through my room to "clean" it/look around though. I knew they wouldn't be ok with my smoking/drinking so I prepared. Waited till they were gone and cleaned out all my weed, left it with a friend for a week, then emptied all of my beer bottles in a bin down the road. Thing is, I knew they'd realize that I'd hidden my shit before I left if they found nothing. I mean come on, how many teenage guys have nothing they want to hide from their parents? Solution-stashed a porn mag under my bed and left an empty bottle of beer behind some books on a shelf. Get back to a mild word about not drinking beer in my room and a wink from my stepdad about my "choice in literature". Turns out I was right about the smoking though, when I came clean a while later I got fucked over.
Some of my friends used to live in a suburb where the trains only stop every 30 mins as opposed to every 10-15 like the other bigger stations. Needless to say we sometimes would somewhat share your experience.
i have been busted left and right for random pipes and hash since i was 15. My worst one was a couple of years ago i smoked maybe 2g of some good hash by myself in my room and watching movies. I got insanely stoned and went to bed at about 4 in the morning. I am usually very good at hiding all evidences that i have smoked, but this time i was so stoned that i forgot to move the shoebox i had all my pipes in and it sat on the floor open and it was the first thing my mother saw when i she was cleaning my room when i was at school. I came home and my dad was in his office and said "hey" like he normally does, and i step into my room and find this note where it says stuff like " Im very dissapointed with you" "I thought you had stopped with this". I felt like a total douchebag since i had promised them to not smoke untill i moved out. Anyways my mom comes home and is angry like crazy and is angry at my for another month before she gets over it. Oh the bad vibes i get when i think of all the times i have been cought Im going to Amsterdam in spring break though, and everything will be ok !
They always mean to snoop nobody does that shit just to be nice they may not have taken it but they saw it and their brains did absorb the juicy information that you smoke.
I love that awkward moment when your toking tools are sitting somewhere obvious in your room because your parents found them. I left some papers in my pants pocket awhile back. My mom does the house laundry, and I came into my room with them just chillin on my desk. I was like O__O funny stuff. She never mentioned it. No harm, no foul

Dude fuck that. I hate it when parents do shit like that. Most of the time it's little shit that they do, where you don't even know if they realize how annoying/bad it is, but that is just horrible. If anyone is cleaning my room it's ME. No thanks. I don't want "help" so you can look through my shit....
