My Recent T-Break

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by Brown Town, Sep 5, 2012.

  1. Haven't posted in ages but I figured I'd check up and see if anyone has ever experienced this while they were going on a t break. I've been smoking every day for about the past year and up till two days ago I decide to go on a long ass break, as getting baked wasn't fun anymore and it was taking way too much just to get an enjoyable buzz that would last 30 minutes or less.
Anyways.... My question for you guys is; Have you ever started getting sick within the first few days but it's not really you getting sick, as you don't have a fever or anything, but you just feel like straight up ass and have the symptoms of someone who would be getting sick.

This whole thing might not make sense, and chances are that it's probably just my bodies dependability on weed itself, and probably the fact that I haven't slept for the past two days lol.

Tl;dr- Going on a t-break after a long time but feel like shit all the time when I'm sober now.

  2. Yes and it will pass. In the mean time just drink fluids and maybe take a multivitamin. Focus on this time to clear up your body a bit so when/if you do go back then it will be all-the-more enjoyable! Everything in moderation

  3. Actually, I was forced to take a T-break for a year, then started smoking every single day, multiple times and now when I wake up its almost as if I get morning sickness and the wake and bake helps it. Its just nausea, but I know exactly what you're talking about. Just right through the first few days. It will be hard to eat and sleep but eventually your body will get used to it.

  4. After 3-4 days most symptoms will vanish, give yourself 1-2 weeks and then blaze up, you'll feel a lot better for it

  5. i felt kind of edgy and wound up the first few days.
maybe a little sore, but nothing compared to how i felt cutting out cigarettes.

  6. i say soon as those sick feelings go away...attack the weed. idk why people take huge breaks to detox.. Get you some green tea and eat some foods that got omega 3s like fish..try that for 2 days and you will feel like the first 100times yew smoked.

  7. I have a degree in chemical dependency counseling and alot of the above advice "not all" is crap. Basically your body is trying to send you a message, it is simple as that. What would be best to do is learn to listen to your body. I have been a cannabis sativa smoker for nearly twenty years. I will regularly take breaks from smoking in order to keep things in perspective. Going through life high 24/7 in my opinion is not the ideal lifestyle, of course I will not tell others to do or not to do ... it is your body and you have the choice to do what you want. The key in my opinion and what is the issues for most individuals is we were never educated. There are going to be multiple factors that can contribute that may or may not contribute to your specific situation. From my own perspective I find that diet and excercise are of paramount importance in a healthy lifestyle. At different stages in my life I will be excercising 1-2 or even 3 or more hours a day. But for me it seems to come in spurts depending on what my body is telling me. If I am feeling like total shit... I need to get some excercise and make sure I am eating correctly + drink lots of water. With excercise your water intake will be greater so the two go hand in hand. Another issue I have found has been through my travel to different parts of the world and it really made me question the quality of smoke I was inhaling. Reality is if you do not know who you are buying from and do not know the process for growing you could possibly be inhaling a crap ton of unwanted chemicals into your body, obviously we have other options such as abstinence or growing our own "safely" without fear of poison in the medicine. The body is a magnifecent vessel and we must learn to respect it, listen to it, and take care of it. If you do not excercise I would start today because age will eventually catch up with you and you are gonna be miserable.

  8. If you guys were to give me an expected time frame for how long I should go for, what would you say? I work out and what not, I just have to get back into some old habits and kick the laziness that came with smoking everyday to the curb, along with the mind set it gives you (where you just want to get baked and don't give a fuck because it's the only thing that will calm you down sometimes and make you happy).

  9. I would say if it is interefering with your daily life and ability to accomplish tasks then don't use drugs. Now if you are able to mature to a point where you can use responsibly and not have it interefere with your daily life then smoke away. You have to figure out what works for you and what what is reasonable. I personally am not smoking anythign t this point in my life and have cut way back because I need to be focusing on soem other things and unfortunately I am in the process of finding work and a dirty urine screen ....... from a result of the "war on Drugs" failed policy.... would prevent me from work. Again you need to figure out what is best for YOURSELF

Just now Blazed up after a 2-day T-Break; the High feels great! I learned how to Control my urge to use and to mature as a person--and lo & behold I've got more keesha in me sack!

  12. Suffer through it, it'll be worth it!

On a T-break myself atm, I'm usually high the majority of the day. All I notice is little spurts of irritability and less appetite.

  13. Pretty much exactly what's up with me, I'll get hungry, take one bite of something and not want to eat anymore.
