Not a bad idea, but really wouldn't the two agencies be merged into one new agency? Since, you know, it's not JUST going to be Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms anymore.
Never understood why ATF was created, Alchohol and Tobacco should rightfully be under DEA and Firearms are completely separate.
