I germinated my seeds in paper towels until the sprouts were 5mm. long. I put them in my soil which is a mixture of humus, peat moss, and pearlite( just a little humus to retain moisture but its mostly moss ans pearlite). They were doing great. My grow room is dry and stays around 75 or 80. my ph was good. They got to be abt 4 inchs tall and had their first set of serated leaves. they were abt to put out their next set of leaves. I checked on them that morning and when i came home that afternoon they were laid over and shriveled up. They were abt 1 and a half weeks old
have any pictures? how about some more info about your setup (what type of light, etc). Mine are a few weeks past germination and just repotted. My biggest one (of eight) is around 3" tall, has two pairs of three leaves and third pair is coming fast. Could yours not have had enough light?
ive got 2 flouros on them. Each is a 45 watt i think shop light. Its puttin out abt 3500 lumens which should be enough for my small growroom. A friend told me he had a plant do the same thing at that age and he said it was white flys. i never saw any flys so i started germinating some more seeds and Im trying a lighter soil mixture with more moss and pearlite and less humus. No pics Sorry
3500 lumens is only really enough for one plant.........better to germinate in a small pot, sat 2-3", and then once it sprouts, get the fluros right close to the plant, like 1" this will stop the plant growing tall and skiny, you said it was about 4" and fell over, the more light you use the smaller the plants can stay, ad use a fan to help strengthen the stem.........check my gallery and you'll see pics of young plants kept small with light supression........a strong stem stops them falling over.............hpe that helps ya out...............Peace out..............Sid
