im using a compact flourecent light an inch above my plants (at least i thinkit is a compact flourecent, it looks like one) how much light do i have to give them? cause im just using a desk lamp and should i keep it going all day long, will it like explode or burn out or sumthin? my plants are only an inch tall (they just poped out this morning). also what kinda fertilizer can i use, ( what dose it need) and how can i mix it in without killin my plant. also when does it need fertilizer? thanks for any help
you don't need to use ferts for a little while. For right now you should have enough light. You can't give a plant too much light. You can only give them too much heat. As long as its not too hot you should be ok. If you haven't read a grow guide yet them maybe you should check one out before you ask to many questions. Them guides answer a lot.
um I highly doubt the desk lamp is a fluoro, i could be wrong, but I still highly doubt it. You should go out and buy yourself a fluoro or 2 for 1 plant, how much wattage is that light you are using?
