My plants are growing bushy not tall....

    Can anyone tell me why my plants are growing bushier? they arnt getting any taller....does this matter? when do i know when to put them into flower?? its been 2 weeks in veg under 600w blue spec ML...

    Putting them in flower is up to you. Do you have a lot of vertical space to work with? Plants can double or triple in size during flower.

    Some folks recommend growing a plant to a foot tall and switching to 12 12. Other folks say wait until you see pre flowers. Lastly there's folks that will tell you its ready to flip when the internodes are alternating and no longer symmetrical.

    I have a lot of vertical space to play with, in fact about 5 ft give and take a few inches to be precise.... i have new leaves popping out of no where...it looks uncontrolled, bushy and messy....they all are about 1ft of them about 47cm also...

    you can trim them back if you want just give a week or 2 for recovery

    thanks for that! do you know if i can take cuttings from a plant at this stage?

    Can you put a photo up? Bushyness is usually desirable. I wouldn't do any chopping, I can't see there being any need for that. If you have 5' of total growing height I would flower once 2' of that has been used up.

    Hello yes sir here is a picture http://i59.tinypic.com/qygtu9.jpg they look bushy to me...also i dont want them to go so big that i wont have any space...but at the same time i want a good yield

    Hey there you could take cuts from almost all of those. Especially the tall one in the back left.

    I'd top it and use that cut as a clone.

    Thanks yeah im looking to take A cutting from the plant on the top left. I'm going to do that pretty soon and make my first attempt at topping a plant.

    They are looking good man. im glad to see you got them over that bump. They look like they are growing well now. Yeah you could take a cutting from any of them, but if they are all the same maybe taking cuts from the largest one to even out the sizes would be best
