So I've never had any direct police/security confrontation about any illegal activity even though I've had far more close calls than I care to remember. I've been very lucky, and I even ask god for each day to keep me safe (Even though I have very loose beliefs about any religion). My basic plan for any confrontation: 1. Authority confronts me and questions what I'm doing 2. I carefully place my hands in plain view and drop anything that may be in my hands 3. I say "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO THE FUCK I AM?" Intended to sound like I am a person of importance, but in reality to discover if they actually know my identity. 4. Yes/No decides next move 5. If yes - I get down on my hands and knees and remain silent no matter what I'm being accused of and refuse to answer any questions 6. If no I run like a bat out of hell, my 2 mile time is under 10 minutes and I challenge any pig to run me down. I'd congratulate them if they succeed. If shot down for some reason I'd die for the cause. I'm 100% positive an unarmed college student studying mechanical engineering being shot down would not look good in the paper.

Dont think I've seen a spiked metal fence in my neighborhood. I'll be sure to avoid them. I know the forest around here pretty well, even in the dark. I'm sure I won't have a problem.

Im 19 and unarmed, if I run from a cop and he shoots me in the back over something as insignificant as weed and underage drinking(I ran from cops that were busting up a party) he's going to jail. The fact that you are applying a general rule for cops across the whole country shows that you don't even know the first thing about how things are legislated in this country .
Ive run from the cops a couple times and never got caught. You just gotta know when you can run and when you cant.
