My personal "how to" deplete smell within your house.

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by UpstateToking, Feb 8, 2011.

  1. I use this technique the all the time, and never smell a thing. Another upside to this is that since it's winter, you don't necessarily require opening a window although it would be helpful.

All that's required is a sploof, and a fan. Wait what? Thats it? Yes, it is.
Sit down at wherever you would toke, and plug in your fan facing it AWAY from you.
Next, prepare your pipe for smoking with the sploof next to you. (Yes, you need a pipe for this to work.) Anything else (joints, blunts, bongs, etc.) could smell up the area more.
Turn the fan on high, and let it circulate facing away from you. Take your hit, and cover the bowl of the pipe with your hand if there's still a cherry burning. Pick up your sploof, exhale through the back of the fan, and repeat. Once done smoking, do a quick 360 with the fan so it fully circulates, and turn it off.

If there is a small hint of a smell you can quickly spray a little febreeze or axe. This technique I use every time and it's very successful for me, even though very simple.
I RECOMMEND that if you are going to smoke in your room, open a window just incase.
But if you are somewhere where no one generally goes every day in your house, you should be alright:D

HOW THIS WORKS: The sploof, which should contain at least 5-10 dryer sheets in it, sucks in a lot of the pot smell and exhales mostly dryer sheet smell. The fan, which circulates the room for the smell not to loiter, also prevents anything from getting on your clothes or settling on your furniture.

If you want to try more just incase, go ahead. But from how much ive done this it has been the most successful without much work.

  2. Or just smoke outside...smell is completly depleted from your house that way.

  3. I understand but here in upstate NY it can get really cold outside in the winter. It's for the lazies. And the hardcore warm blooded.

  4. Don't pass out outside after getting lit.

  5. For me, all I need is a sploof. I have literally smoked in the room next to my parents (my room) with a sploof and packing snaps in the bowl. I always use AT LEAST 12 dryer sheets plus one over the end. The smell really does not linger as much as you think it would. It's mostly paranoia.

Ps: A great way to get caught is by spraying the shit out of a room with air freshener.

  6. When I used to have to hide it, all I used was a sploof.
