My New Smoking Routine

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by Heigh7, Aug 29, 2012.

  1. what's up guys..i got an important question because im still a novice in the subject. Over the past summer, i started smoking a lot. I smoked roughly 3 to 5 times a week; however, i first started smoking in May..so..my experience is still relatively low. Now that school has come along, i have developed a new routine & i wanted to prompt a question regarding tolerance issues as many of you are well aware of. If i smoke only on Friday nights and Saturday nights, and go Monday through Friday w/o smoking..will my tolerance maintain at bay and will i continue to get blazed? I noticed in the summer, as i smoked more and more, the duration of the highs didn't last as long..but when i took a 4 day break..the next i smoked i would experience a heightened, more intense high. So, to conclude, if smoke only 2 days a week, will my tolerance level be sustained. School keeps me very active and i don't need to smoke during the week and my motivation is to prevent tolerance issues.

  2. If you only smoke 1 or 2 nights a week you won't really have a tolerance come that friday

  3. Smoking shouldn't have a routine. It should be an unexpected, and anticipated pleasure.

  4. i agree with you, but i got responsibilities. i know there are functional stoners out there, but im not one of them. I'm a man of priorities, so routines are in my nature. I appreciate your view on smoking, although the truth is you simply are attempting to conceal your guilt caused by your reliance of a mind altering substance.

  5. Yeah dude your tolerance will stay good.

  6. how can something be both unexpected and anticipated

  7. Me? Lol. No, i smoke once a month. Not on a schedule just when i feel like it. I have no reliance on any chemical out of all the ones i use, and have time to keep a 3.8 at university.

  8. Anticipate the unexpected. I forgot, not all people are philosophical, this isn't the shroomery. I'm not used to life outside of it. :D

  9. Heres something I learned from experience as a smoker and thats I don't believe in tolerance build up the way people believe it works. Like alcohol I understand that a tolerance can be built but with weed and other drugs, its just the product overall that really matter. real Dank weed is real dank weed and will get you just as high everytime you smoke it

  10. hmmm I think that's true to a point. I always believed in tolerance, but I really didn't understand what it was until one day after years of daily smoking, it hit me hard. I just sort of rolled over, and developed a full fledged tolerance. i mean it took me 5x more to get the same highness...well until i took a break you know. Maybe tolerance comes in quantized levels if you know what I mean. Atomic model anyone?

  11. I seem to be doing okay smoking every day for tolerance. I'm not getting blitzed as fuck like my second or third time but I still get really damn stoned on .5 of dank. And kief kicks my ass. Especially with beer.

  12. yea i was smoking everyday for a couple of years, then i switched to weekends only. I find my highs are a lot more intense but i do miss my tolerance a little bit for that comforting warmth you get on the first hit of the day.

    Anticipate the unexpected.[/quote]

    Please explain

  14. Saying things which people cannot understand is not philosophical, it's saying things which people cannot understand.
