My New Setup....

so i am moving to a new place with lots of closet space for me to work with!! i will have a very large walk in closet that i plan to use as a veg room (mostly...) as of now i have 3 young mother plants under a very nice sunleaves 125watt self ballasted floresent. i plan on upgrading to a 400watt metal halide, and use the 125watt for clones and liitle girls.

so i guess my first question would be this, i also plan on trying my luck with lowryder 2, which uses a 18/6 or 20/4 light cycle, similar to my vegging mothers, but i would want the lowryders under a hps light at least when there budding, would it be acceptible to hang a 150watt hps next to a 400watt metal halide, so that the lowryders complete there entire life cycle in my veg room??? would the hps light affect my mother plants?? id like to have the lights lined up in a way so that i can have a very simple, organized perpetual harvest, im just worried about the lighting not being consistent. would the lights dwarf each other out, or would the light mix well and as the plants grow id just have to slide them down the table towards the bigger lights??

i have another smaller closet that i will have a 400watt hps light on 12/12 to flower the clones from my mothers, but i dont want to have to use that closet for the lowryders.

is it acceptible to grow a plant from seed to harvest under a single hps light??? i was under the impression that hps lights were only good for flowering, and metal halides and floresents were strictly for vegatative growth....

 

so to grow young vegging clones, a few mother plants, and a few lowryders in the same room, should i just consider a 600 hps to cover everyone and not use any floresents or metal halides?? i just want the best, most efficient use of my space...
