  3. Very cool!

    I have a (meanwhile) 15ft/95lb Burmese Python, a Dog and a Cat.

And no Snakey (that's her name) won't touch my other animals unless they smell like chicken.

    She doesn't like strangers though.

    :)

I just love snakes too much...

  6. This thread terrifies me... but only because I'm high atm.

  7. Trust me snakes are just badly reputed to be terrifying all the time.
    Its not the truth !

Snakes are much more lovely than people imagine them to be :smoking:

  8. Thanks :) thats awesome, me too. I'm definately a reptile person

"There's nothing to fear, but fear itself"

Exactly, though it does get kinda stressful when your feeding 10+ foot Boas

  9. Way fucking cool man.

Sounds like you've got a lot of experience handling reptiles - which is a great thing!

I've seen too many people buy reptiles without giving too much consideration on their environments and care.

    I think they'll have a happy home. :D

  10. Oh yeah. Keep in mind I was just given both of these today. Therefore the cage the python is in is dirty from the previous owner, and the little container the bearded dragon is in is just for a week or 2, until I feel its ready for an actual tank. hes so small I wanna make sure hes eating and everything, so this smaller container is easier to care for it. it just hatched today :)

The bearded dragon is cool, but that python is gorgeous! Those were a great find and be careful....I've heard that the tree pythons don't take too kindly to a lot of handling.

Oh, and if you enjoy rather exotic reptiles check out the breeding work of Bob Clark. I hope the mods don't mind, but his site is www.bobclark.com

Lots of interesting work and I think he's the first to bring the leucistic python (pure white, not albino) to the world. Good luck saving up to try and buy one though....

  12. Nice man. My uncle and cousin actually bred the green tree pythons. Here's some pictures of the mother, father, and a few of the babies (it's amazing how big of a change these things make from baby to adult.

  13. Wow man! Great pics of some beautiful specimens there, so thanks for sharing them. I love how the tree pythons change colors as they progress through life. It's almost as if they ripen into that beautiful bright green. They're kinda' like the cannabis of the snake world in a way, no? Enjoy 'em man and here's a digi-puff in honor of those babies :smoke:

    Peace,

  14. Thanks man :) THey are definately an amazing species of snakes. I love 'em. I love how they change colors, but I do wish they stayed the same as they are as babies haha
