My MJ has yellowing veins and leaves from the inside

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by Ancap420, Apr 6, 2018.

  1. Hello cannabis lovers,

I' here because my MJ is not developing like it should, the plant is showing signs of both overfertilization and a weird deficiency. All my leaves feel kinda dry, the tips looks like a little overfert, and my older leaves are falling after some weird yellowing which looks like a reverse from mag deficiency, cause the veins yellow first and the leaves from the inside.

My soil mix is something like 1/2 prolightmix, 1/4 bone meal and 1/4 wormcastings (and some perlite in it also).

I've top dressed with malted barley, hey and neem cake seeds for pest management. The only nutrients I've gave her in flowering were some ashes, silica and a fermented banana juice for the PK boost. The dust in the leaves is some sulfur I've sprayed to successfully protect my plat from spider mites.

My light is a 250w full spectrum, and my grow room temps during day are near 30C but in hot days it can reach the 34, 35's. I've been trying to keep humidity near 65%.

She's 42 days into flowering and the buds are still too small for a 56 flowering days genetic.

What should I do now? Give just plain water, flush or maybe give more nuts? I'm really lost.

Thanks for reading my testemonial, I'd be very pleased to receive some help from you guys, cause I'm really depressed after giving too much love for this plant and not receiving my fat buds that I need...

  2. You are using a low power light. I think what you've got going on is pretty nice. You say 42 days of flower. Is that when you changed to 12/12 or when it started showing pistils? Also, who says 56 day genetics?

  3. But to answer your question, don't do anything. The plant is using its stored up nutes from the fan leaves. This is totally normal and expected during the plants later stages. Also the buds aren't done growing. Give them time. They should fatten up

  4. Hello After the shot, thanks for being helpful bro. It is a pure power plant, seedsman says 56 days for this genetic, but maybe it doesn't account for the changing cycle period, the plant is 42 days into 12/12, I don't remember if it had or not pistils showing before.
I'm expecting like 30~50grams but as I've read 0,5grams per watt is kind of a minimum productivity, so I'd like to get at least 100g, that's why I'm so worried. I hope I might be wrong, but it's because I've had terrible experiences with spider mites in my last grow, and got only like 20g of 2 plants, but this plant is really looking better and I've totally defeated the mites with the sulfur spray, only thing that worked for me. Thanks again for helping, I'll just catch a fire and chill, giving just plain water for her. Peace.

  5. If it's a Photoperiod, it probably started throwing pistils between 10 & 14 days after flip, so you are probably only around day 30. Give or take. And you cannot go by what the breeder says. They are usually a couple weeks off. And you also aren't running the same equipment that they did.

  6. IMO your yield will suffer from too much defoliation. there really is no call to take away so much. plants need leaves to function and photosynthesis to make energy to grow.

  7. I’d have to imagine your plant is starving.
