I want to answer this post a little bit better than I did before...To be honest, I don't really care what the EF does, because they are the ones that have acted inappropriately...That lawyer will not be making a living off of my illness, mostly because I say so...This is not meant to sound cocky or absurd...But the fact remains they fucked up, and I did the only thing within my power: write a strongly worded email telling her how much I hate her for what she did... The fact that they are only protecting themselves, and not looking out for the best interest of the E community infuriates the hell out of me...it has nothing to do with money or them not listening to me...it has to deal with the simple fact that when I was growing up, I got seizures in the shower all the time, and used to fuck myself up pretty good. I don't know how I survived, but I did, and I am grateful. This thing with the EFA is far from over...I am not going to be intimidated by them, and if given a fair chance, I can proove they were in the wrong...the fact that bitch had the audacity to press charges against me, knowing full well what she did, chaps my ass... its going to be ugly...
I don't know about that. I truly do not believe that government assistance is in any way a right. A gift perhaps, but not a right. Unfortunately you lost that gift when you made a very bad decision. Those are the consequences of your actions. We have the right to eat when we go to work, and earn that money. I understand you're in a bad position, and that sucks, but you have to be willing to do something to get yourself out of it. Like getting a real job. As for medication, in the same way government assistance is not a right, neither is government funded medicine. However I do believe medical marijuana should most certainly be legal. Furthermore, if their lawyers can dig up all the things you've been saying about the online (you've made it clear that the city is not the only place you're posting), you could face not only legal consequences for threats, but also both libel and slander (I say this as a 3 year student of journalism). That can get you in a lot of trouble. You're showing delusional tendencies if you think that you can stop them from doing anything to you, legally, when you broke the law. If they can prove it, you're screwed. At this point they can at least prove threats. I'm not saying you're wrong for being upset, I think most people would be livid. But you have to understand, you're emotions do not give you the right to make threats, or break the law. Be angry; be livid. But do not make threats or post/say libelous or slanderous things. Work within the law to make changes. Mostly, you need to just walk away from this organization and have nothing more to do with them. You're just digging yourself a bigger hole. And frankly, you're displaying obsessive behavior.
Since you are concerned with losing your time on GC, please consider that it is popular nowadays for judges to order no internet access for the defendant in cases such as yours. Where the offense involves the use of a computer and internet access, it has become very common for judges to order no internet usage or no computer usage as a condition of probation. How that sort of thing is policed I am less sure but I do know this has become a common and popular court order. This is what you face as a potential penalty if convicted on January 31. You may not be on GC for a while; for the duration of your probationary period. This is why I urge you to be tactful when speaking in court. Perhaps you can talk the judge out of taking away your computer and internet access.
