My L.A. Trip Part 2 (Glass Pics)

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by the rocheklip, Jan 16, 2007.

  1. Hey all blades, so I went to NYC this weekend after returning from L.A. and didn't get home until now. But as I suspected, the chubbler I sent to myself from L.A. arrived while I was in NYC. So without further ado, my new chubbler and the chubbler ashcather I bought for my buddy as a gift.

  2. I have never heard of a chub, how do they work?

  3. how well does a chubbler work? dont you ever get water in your mouth?

+rep though, thats quite the unique piece.

  4. Chubbler = Chillum + Bubbler. Mine is actually a spoon bowl instead of a chillum, but I like the name chubbler. The way a chub works is there are two stems within the chamber of the bowl and a hole plugged by the cork. The hole with the cork is just to fill the tube. The way the stems are angled the stem that leads from the bowl area tilts down towards the mouth piece. And the stem from the mouth piece tilts up towards the bowl. So when you tip the chubb towards your mouth and pull, the smoke is pulled through the bowl stem under the water and back out the other stem, that is above the water level, to your mouth.

  5. How much was the chubb and where'd you get it?

  6. Chubb was $70 from Big Daddy's in Sherman Oaks L.A. on the corner of Ventura and Beverly Glen.

  7. I know where I'm going tomorrow. I gotta get a chubbler now haha.

  8. They had one more Chubb, I was debating between this one and that one. The one that was left was clear glass instead of frosted and slighty smaller, but was still a nice and very unique piece. Also, it was only $50 if I recall correctly. Def go pick it up, bet none of your buddies have one.

  9. man +rep for the cool ass chubbler and all that, thats damn unique if you ask me

  10. Ok first off i must sayDude that skull bong is insane I almost creamed my pants when i saw it ...thats so crazy i have never seen the chamber of a bong like that before it looks soooo good wow did you buy that in LA or what man thats so Friggen wicked.

  11. The skull bong is from Dementia, its on Ventura by the corner of Van Nuys in Sherman Oaks. Hits like an absolute beast, I forgot what its like to hit a bong with no perc, almost no drag. It came with a really cool skull shaped bowl too, I just wanted to show off the Chubb bowl instead.

  12. I really want to know the blower beacuse there is alot of skull pipes going around here and some of them are made by an amazing glass blower and apparently their really hard to get so yeah man if you do know the blower let me know

  13. Got nothing for ya there, my buddy had already had the bong for a few months when I got to L.A. But like I said you can go to Dementia and ask around.
