  1. hi all im king twice and i 'm kinda new to this forum thing but i 'll do my best to keep up.
i 'll tell you a little about my story one. day a very close associate of mine came to me with some O.G. kush for me to sample, long story short it had a shit load of seeds i started growing them about two months ago and just moved them from a very small bath room where they were doing fairly well considering the conditions they were forced to be in, now they have a whole bedroom to themselves my question is if i have roughly 47 square feet to play with for vegging and the same for flowering how many watts of light per square foot will i need? any help would be greatly appreciated.:smoking::smoking:

  2. Looks like you need the garden forum

post your room size ceiling height ect..

  3. i have a space of about 14 1/2 ' x 6 1/2 ' that will be sectioned off into two chambers one for flowering and one for vegging the peak of the ceiling is about 8' tall but there is a bend in the roof because it's the top floor of my house which has the overall shape of an attic the bend in the ceiling comes about 4' down into the wall as shown in the pictures also do you have any suggestions on how i should go about building the frame? thanks for all the help this is my third posting and so far you are my first response so thanks for caring enough to respond.:hello::smoking:

  4. Depending on how much time and money you wish to invest and how much yield you want, you have a lot of options.
Fresh paint would be a great investment.
Plastic over the floors to protect from spills.
A simple wood wall frame to separate your spaces. The veg are being the smaller of the two.
Light proof the wood wall frame. I would use something light and white, like the tents are made of. Not wood or other heavy materials.
    Light proof that window.

It goes on and on. There is a lot of great setups here on this forum. Look a round at a few. Draw out your basic plan and figure out the cost. Once you have and idea of what direction you are going, post about it and there is sure to be plenty more input.

Your plants are looking good and I am looking forward so seeing your room come to be.

    Best of luck.

  5. well as far as money is concerned that's not to much of an issue in the next day or two i'll be picking up one 400 and one 300 watt hps lamps for the flowering chamber and also wood to build a partition for the two sides as far as the walls i was planing to use mylar to cover the walls after i put up the frame also picking up a small indoor air-conditioner to control the temp room tends to heat up pretty fast.
and thanks for the advice on the black and white plastic because i was going to use plywood to build a room inside the room but the plastic is a much wiser choice.

  6. as far as the window is concerned i know i should have light proofed it before i moved my grow room in there but i was so excited when the room got freed up i just could'nt wait but me and my partner got such a great deal on lights and fans we forgot about every thing else found two heavy duty fans and two hps lights one with a free standing ballist and one with the ballist built in on craigs list for $300 and he even threw in a bunch of good seeds about 4 N.L. 9 N.L. crosses with something he called a cotton candy type and 10 of what he said was really good stuff that he got from wyoming he decribed it as really really piney
