Yeah your right, the smaller the increment the more money you make. Really doesn't make much sense to me. But if he has it sorted and weighed already, he probably just wants to sell what he already has made up.

All i wanted was a 10 bag, and said dealer wouldnt break down a dub to sort it =/ if i wanted weed i had to find another tenner. Which i did and got blazed haha

 

Selling less than an 1/8 at a time is fairly unheard of in my extended circle. The way it was described to me is that it gets hard towards the end to get rid a weird small weight if people normally call for an 1/8+.

 

Dimes and dubs are a little more profitable for the dealer, which is partially why you shouldn't bother with them, but nobody I know buys them. Why bother, when you can get an eighth for $30-$60 depending on the quality?

 

Well a lot of higher level dealers are used to dealing with street and low level dealers. For example, my guy buys from a guy who grows his own and sells to other dealers, rather than users. Low level dealers still usually buy at least an 8th at a time. So you might just be buying from a high level dealer.

 

i know a guy like that, doesn't really bother me, he sells a lot so he doesn't care if some people can't buy a g or so, he's just gonna sell it in a 1/4 when someone else comes around.

although would be nice if he did sell less than an 1/8th.

 

My dealer won't sell less than a half ounce. Actually the better the dealer you have lots of times they don't sell tiny bits.

It's pretty simple really. For the five or ten dollars extra money they make, they have to deal with you constantly.

People coming over to the apartment and ringing up your phone constantly. Making neighbors suspicious. Wasting your time. Etc.

Most dealers haver a term like "dimebaggers" or something along those lines. People whose business is more trouble than it's worth.

If a dealer sells an ounce a week. And four people buy a quarter sack. He only sees 4 people once a week. Or 8 people per eighth. If they all buy grams he has to see 28 people in a week. A few more dollars isn't worth all the risk or hassle.

I won't even buy from dealers who sell to dimebaggers because of the amount of traffic coming from their apartments. The neighbors just look like they know, and some are cool with it but no doubt some don't want to live next to drug dealers and rat them out.

My dealer probably sees two people in a week. It's much safer.

 

yeah i don't get it, one of my dealers did the same thing, only sell 8ths and up, probably because he brought them already weighed out or something...

 

well OP sometimes people dont want to have to go out of their way risking their ass (i mean their the ones that would be charged with a felony not you) for a 40 bag. i understand where your dealer was coming from, he just doesnt want to bother with the small weight....i suggest you go find yourself someone that'll sell you a gram or two and stop bitchin! lolz just playing i know its lame but just call someone else

 

I don't understand why people buy less than 1/8th. I don't mean any disrespect for those that do, none at all. But it is just more economical. I KNOW I'm going to be smoking for a while, so I buy extra. It's like going to costco; Buy in bulk, save money, get high!

 

I know a guy who only sells ounces so an eight is not bad. hes trying to make money
