  1. Ok, So Im new to this and have been doing some research, but still feel a bit perplexed when it comes to my setup. I have the following space in the form of a almost finished closet in my garage. See pics.

    The Dimensions are

    2' Deep

    3' Wide

    5'8" High

    8 sq feet total

My questions are, should it sectioned off for veg and flowering? Or just one open space?

Would a 250 Watt HPS suffice for veg? and 400 Watt Metal Halide for flowering?

What about cooling? I have no way to take in air from outside, except from inside the garage. What are my options given my small space for cooling? I really only want to grow about three plants at one time for personal use as im older and Ill...something like lowryder would work well for me. Any advice would be great, and as always greatly appreciated?

  2. First of all, you have (according to your dimensions) 6 sq ft (length x width).

I would also like to sugges some more research. MH bulbs are for veg, and HPS is for flower. I do this that a 250w MH and a 400w HPS would be plenty for that space though.

As for your ventilation, it's a must. If you can vent into the garage and draw cool air in there from it, you must. Plants require a frest supply of CO2, and also those lights are gonna be hot a hell.

I would really just suggest doing more research. I realize you're ill, but you'l never grow anything worthwhile without hours and hours of research. Everyone on here who has grown from seed to harvest knows this.

I suggest you start off by picking up Jorge Cervates' book, "The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Marijuana Growers Guide." For a start.

Good luck. Hope this help! Happy growing, it's addicting.

  3. Thanks For the Reply. I watched Ready Set Grow, bye jorge cervantes. I have a local hyrdoponics store, that sells lights etc. Think I might check it out and see what they say about growing my killer tomato. In the mean time I will keep reasearching, researching and researching.
