i only have room for a 3 foot by 3 foot by 3 foot box. i was thinking of using LST and veg till it gets about 1 and a half feet high. any ideas? i want a lot of bud. i know i can only do about 1 plant at a time. how much do i water it a day? hmm help please
This is totally possible. Definitely LST, keep it trained and you'll be able to get a good amount of bud in that space. 3 ft. is actually bigger than you think. Get some CFLs and some pc fans to cool and exhaust the stale air. Don't water everyday. Water until some water trickles out of the drainage holes in your pots. Then, wait a few days. Stick your finger in about 2 inches, and if the soil feels completely dry, water again. If it's still moist, don't. As far as how tall before flowering, a lot of sativa strains will stretch once you start flowering, gaining some height. So you may need to compensate for that, and switch to 12/12 when the plant is a little shorter than you want it. what strain were you thinking of growing? for a good reference, read through Mister Postmans grow. He keeps his plants pretty short (20"-25") and harvests big yields (2 oz. per). ok i have a better idea but it might be harder. i hollowed out a computer shell.i was going to use LST. it may not be alot of space so i need to fit a light, 2 timers, a water pump, and a thing that will make the smell go away. i build computers for a living and i think this will be hard but i will post the schematics when im done. can i have some help on how to make a carbon scrubber or something to take the smell away that is small but effective.
