My Grinder's not doing its job! -readme

    Ok so I got a nice metal grinder, (no brand on it), its just straight silver.
    Contains 3 levels, where you put the nugs into, where the ground up bud appears, and then a kief catcher.

    Anyways, I've had this grinder for about a year now and..although I love it when it comes to breaking buds up, kief is a disappointment. I mean I don't get any kief, or very VERY LITTLE. It almost seems like nothing is falling through.

    And its not the amount I'm grinding..I pick up like 4-5grams every week, and on top of that my friends bring bud too, and we always use my grinder. Even with all our buds being grinded, barely anything changes. For example, yesterday I had 2 friends over for a mid-night session. They brough 4grams for the session, and we grinded it all in my grinder. Barely any change.

    So my question is...whats causing this? What can I do to get kief faster?

    I heard putting a penny or something in the middle chamber helps the crystals fall down to the kief level..but I don't understand how it does.

    I really just need some help..thanks!

    the penny knocks the kief out. but maybe just get a nicer grinder?

    Soak the grinder, separated into its 3 pcs, in 91% iso alcohol. Should clean that kief screen. I'd also recommend buying a Space Case 4pc grinder if you want grinding/kief catching efficiency.

    I have like a small black triangle that came with the grinder thats used for scraping the kief up.

    Would that work?

    Post a pick of your grinder.

    It may be the case it is a metal one that has the kief catcher as just a gauze directly under the grinding teeth. Not actualy having a separate level for the kief separation.

    Yea if it's separating properly you can scrape it into a pile out of the last chamber. It really sounds like you're just waay overdue for an iso wash.

    What if I have no ISO alc?
    ...can water and soap clean it? lol.,

    Just get a sharp implement, like the end of a scissor blade or a knife and scrape that shit! (just dont dig too hard or scrape some bits so metal shavings dont fall off)

    Dude, just buy some 91% iso, it's like $2-3 max. Then u can make qwiso hash.
