My first tent setup.please help

    Hi guys need some help
    Just purchased 80x80x160cm tent and thinking to buy VIPARSVIPARSPECTRA Reflector Series V300 LED Grow Light 300w or maybe phlizon 600w? Also got few norhern lights auto seeds. Im thinking to use two 3 gallon fabric pots filled with quality potting mix.
    I hear that northern lights dont smell as much so hoping i dont need carbon filter?
    Would i need exaust fan or would just the clip fan be enough inside to keep the air moving if my tant is located in a room with a window open so the fresh air can get in?
    Any advice for this newbie?

    Welcome to GC. Im on my first indoor grow. Use the search option too.

    Read up on those lights. One will not be enough for your space. There are also better options out there.

    Well your Viparspectra V300 pulls 130 watts and your Phlizon 600w only pulls 108 watts. You have 7 s/f of grow area and if you use Chinese blurples like these two lights you will need about 350 actual watts - not equivalent. You can't pay attention to what the manufacturers call their lights - the name does not represent the actual watts pulled out of the wall - and that's what important. I suggest Quantum Boards or a 400w HPS. With QB's you'll only need about 200w. Good luck.

    You will need an exhaust to exchange air. Plants won’t last long without one in a tent. If u don’t want an exhaust use a closet to grow and not a tent

    what lights would you guys recommend for a budget of around 200$ ?
    i was thinking LED lights since im in australia and we have mild winter and dont really want to deal with lots of heat of other lights....
    would 1 Viparspectra 600w (Avg. Power Draw: 269W) be ok to grow 2-3 plants?
    or maybe 2 Viparspectra v300 daisy chained for a better coverage be better option?
    anything else i should consider in LED lights on budget of around 200$

    I got a 4x4 I’m using one mars hydro 2 400
    Draw 185 watts and one 8 bulb t5 fixture draw 192 watts
    It covers 2/3s of tent so I can go inthere and have a place to stand and keep water
    Keep a open bin of water helps keep humidity up
    I use a 4 inch can lite filter 150 cfm and 2 105 cfm fans which draws hot air out of tent this is important as lights generate heat even leds and passive intake which is just a 6 inch duct with a tack to under
    My window it’s below freezing now but I’m summer I’m gonna need somthing to keep bugs out screen or another filter

    here are some pics get an idea I got my stuff used on Kijiji was good finds fans are not loud lol can talk on phone beside them no issues
    They make clips for t5 lights on poles as well
    Great addition cause most leds have a circle light foot print I think
