My piece arrived! I picked up mad scientist v2 for under 60$ then went to my LHS and picked up a new bowl and tree perc pre cooler. Just ripped it for the first time. Some blue cheese. Minimal drag and able to pull it fast with no problems. After this month T-break this was a nice little pickup and would say for under 85$ total. Can't beat it. Very smooth too. Triple filtration.
Sweet dude! I bet it hits amazing. Hey don't freak out if it breaks. Hopefully it doesn't but everybody pretty much breaks glass eventually. Just keep the pieces and even though it will probably cost as much or more to fix at least you can always have your first piece I have checked those mad scientists before. They are definitely unique.
