My first indoor setup 3x3

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by TheUnheardMusic, Jun 5, 2020.

  1. Hey there,

I was hoping I could get some help with my first indoor setup.I’ve done outdoor for years, but want to try out something inside as well. I’m hoping not to break the bank on my first run.

I plan on getting a 3x3 grow tent

mars hydro tsw2000w or maxsisun 2020 model 2000

    Ac infinity cloud line t6

I’m thinking of skipping out on a filter as smell and security isn’t a concern.
I suppose the questions are, will this setup be sufficient for 3-4 autos, in 3 gallon fabric pots?

  2. 3-4 autos will likely be too big for a 3x3.

However, one large photo will fill out a 3x3 very nicely. Less to deal with as well.

  3. 3 or 4 autos would be fine for a 3x3 I grow 4 photos in 5 gallons in a 3x3

  4. autos only get 2 to 3 ft tall with only about a foot and a half to 2ft grow space. 3 gallon pots you will be fine with 3 or 4 in a 3x3

  5. Are you running 1 or 2 units?
I haven’t pulled the trigger on lights yet for a 5x3x5 cab

  6. I run 4 of those kits I posted the link too. And a bud of mine runs the same thing, strain and almost duplicate setup as me. He also pulls over 3lbs. I think we are running 960 watts of QB Samsung LM301's.

  7. The link posted shows a flowering footprint of 4.5x4.5 per two kits. Does this mean two kits would have to be purchased?
If so, would this be too much in a 3x3?

Sorry I have very little knowledge when it comes to this and am hoping not to waste my money:/

  8. cant have to much light I think.
    2 should be perfect (kits)
    I run 4 kits in a 5x5

  9. Thanks. Is it normal to feel sketched out about that website? Lol

  10. Alibaba is pretty much Chinese Amazon. Pretty trusty site actually and they have excellent customer service if things go wrong with the order. At least in my experience.

admittedly their site does look sketchy

  12. Thanks.. I can’t seem to get them to take my card for payment now that I’ve finally decided to buy them of course lol. Strangest thing :/

  13. Go with you gut. Always. But there are no real negative things about Alibaba. China has some higher QC than most companies here. Regarding check n balances. When you realize that the lights on Ali are the same ones being private labeled, you are just paying for marketing...

I tried to do 4 but 2 of the freebie seeds I had didn’t crack. If I did I would of flipped week or 2 ago. Now I’m gonna put down a net and give it a few more weeks. Less plants longer veg.
