Okay , so I've got 4 starter pots filled with miracle grow soils and a big pot with the same. I started 2 of them at the same time almost 2 weeks ago, and the other 3 yesterday. I'm using an overhead fluorescent light and 2 small lamps with fluorescents in them. I've put some eggshells in the soil because my friend told me they produce nitrogen. Fact or fiction? Right now I've got them on 12 on 12 off with light. When should I change that? So far as watering, I use warm arrowhead water bottles. Only when the top soil looks dry. I just need some advice on maintaining healthy plants and when I should do what with them. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I figure out how.
