This is my first indoor grow ever! Not sure of the strain but it was from some good bud I had earlier. The one that is limp I decided wasn't worth keeping because the one in the small container needs a planter and that one works good I will get a updated picture for you guys tonight! I am wondering wondering if the 3 larger planters look suitable to be the final sized pot? As you can see from the picture they were a little to far from the light and stretched out abit but are much closer and now showing signs of new growth not just length. I want to install a couple CFL's in there soon, heres that I got planned - \t\t\t \t\t \t\tI am not the best electrician so I have couple questions. I am using this fixture - http://www.homehardware.ca/Products/..._prcln_w_leads ( to wire this could I strip a PC power cord and wire accordingly? or do I need specific cable?) and then plan on using this:http://www.homehardware.ca/Products/...light_twin_wht so I can get 2 bulbs. ( from my understanding that just screws into the fixture.) and then I want to use this bulb(x2) Home Hardware » Product Details » ( Will that bulb fit into the fixture, looks a little small in diameter but thats how all CFL's were.) Thanks in advance! \t\t
you could use one of these Home Hardware » Product Details » and just plug it into a powerstrip then use a ziptie or something else to help secure it so it doesnt "unplug" on ya. Specially if your unsure with wiring it together.
lol Np, its what I plan on using and I picked that up from others on here. I like it that way so you can also use the strip to plug other items in and limit the amount of cords coming from your box and thus helping with the stealth of it. Plus mounting a powerstrip is as easy as using two screws and possibly a hot glue gun to mount. Where as mounting a light system would be finding a base, running wires, making sure it works then mounting it inside the case. THEN finding a way of plugging it in. =D
