My first grow

Its better to let it dry out more than that. Most of us lift the pot up a tad, if it weighs next to nothing it's time to water. It takes a little practice when you start growing but it works well. They really like to dry out well in between watering. Looking pretty good for a first time grow tho!

 

Soil needs to dry well between waterings. Get used to lifting one side of the pot with thumb and index finger to feel the weight differences as it dries. When it is light, time to water.

 

Looks like an autoflower.
What kind of light and distance to canopy? If it doesn't flower in the next two weeks, you'll need to change lighting to 12/12 to try and jump start flowering.

It's it's bag seed, you need to switch your light cycle to 12 on/12 off to start flowering. If it's auto flowering you don't need to.

Assuming you meant you found it in a bag and didn't order it from a site. In that case, 99% sure it's not an auto. Plug your lights into a timer and set the schedule to 12/12.

 

Yup, so 12/12 will start flowering it. Leave it on 12/12 all the way to harvest. When it starts flowering it will get about 2-3 times as tall as it is (called the stretch phase), after that it will stop growing taller and start making buds (if it's a female).

You can flower it whenever you want, that's for you to decide.
