Progress on my first attempt at this. First off - thanks to everyone here for their time and sharing knowledge since you are the reason
this seems to be going well. The three bigger plants are exactly two months old today (1/24). Image #2 is a Gorilla Glue auto, which has been
flowering since 12/30. I'm really stoked about this one! Image #3 and #4 are Mazar and Critical Mass photos, just switched to 12/12 on 1/12,
and they are for sure in their first week of flower (vegged 50 days). Image #5 and #6 are from the same seeds, Critical Purple autos.
#5 is a freak of nature - shot straight up and was showing pistils in it's second week of life! It seems to be in flower even - both are five weeks old.
The other CP just got relieved of LST, and she is just starting to show pistils too.

It's been a wild two months for these gals. I started off with blurples from Amazon - returned two and kept one. After five or six weeks of unimpressive results
I broke down and got a qb-288 3000k, starting 1/1. This and other errors is why the photos are kinda small for 60 days old i guess. But they've hung in there!
So i have the qb-288 and a Bloomspect 600w I use for supplement. Here's other info:

    4x2 space
    4" exhaust
    12" oscillating fan
6" clip fan blowing on qb-288
    FFOF soil + 30% perlite
    2 gallon fabric pots
    GH FloraNova Grow, Bloom
    Cal-Mag
    Tap+RO mix, 6-6.5 ph
    temp range 68-82 daily
    humid range 35-45 daily

    Any thoughts opinions?

  2. Heya, nice looking plants, but I suggest you train them better next time.

  3. Your plants look very nice! You've done well so far.

Do you have plans for what you'll be doing differently on your next grow? Like trojangrower suggested, you might try your hand at some training techniques to increase your yield.

  4. I did do some LST and still learning the ropes with that, each plant only got about 2 weeks worth of training.
Definately something I want to master and to get a bunch of even colas. This is all for personal stash, already gonna be more than I smoke in a year! I'm just happy to get at least one of these to harvest.

  11. You came asking for advice, which you received some great stuff. You made the necessary adjustments, and as long as you continue on this path, it looks like you will have a respectable first grow.

My tips on training would be to top at 4th node, get rid of lower two nodes (single leaf and one above. Train your branches out wide and flat. Let them grow out to top again and you’ll have 8 mains, plus whatever laterals decide to grow vertical in that time frame

That’s what I call a redneck manifold. Or you can nugbuckets mainline for the real deal

  12. Thank you sir! This is exactly what I need! How long do you leave them in training? My biggest issue was that I was treating all my plants as autos because I thought they were. Yes I'm a noob. They were so small and I didn't think I had much time left for veg to get some size.

  13. I have a full batch of autos in veg now (some are flowering already but they’ll have to wait) I should have about a week after I return to finish the current flower room then I can move the autos in to finish and start my next photo run. I’m not a fan of autos so far. Ill finish these out and maybe just run 1-2 under my Mars Pro II 160 for the
    Mars Hydro Auto Station

Manifolds take some time, depending on how many colas you want. I’m gonna stick with 8 for now as it’s way quicker. Expect about 5-8 weeks veg from seed. A little Quicker in hydro

  15. Hey so this is the Gorilla Glue, 90 days. Real close to harvest so I did some manicuring. The buds are HUGE! I think you'll like yours :)
