Growing some White Rhino. Its been about a week and 3 days since it popped out of the ground. Just wondering what you guys think about her growth so far. Also have a second seedling that is a few days old.

  2. Looking good so far my friend. Just make sure to keep the light close and put a gentle fan on them to strengthen the stems. Your soil looks like it has plenty of aeration and your plants don't look overwatered so you're about 5 steps ahead of most new growers right there.

  3. Thanks I'm glad to hear that! I do have a big fan on it at the moment on the lowest setting. I'm using a 110w 4000k florescent on it and I keep it about 2 inches from the top, but I am going to get 3 6500k 23w CFLs to flower it (unless there is a better recommendation). I used about half MG soil and half perlite.

  4. Sounds good. Just make sure to keep an eye on them for signs on burning from the nutrients in the mg soil (overwatering will increase the likelihood of this problem). They look fine so far, just something to be aware of.

  5. Okay will keep an eye out.

I might be high but I'm pretty sure you want 2700k for flower and 6500k for veg.

  9. Can you post a link to other pics? Thanks I kinda want to see what I will be dealing with size wise.

  10. I noticed today that some of the leaves have yellow spots and slightly curled.. could this be to much heat?

  11. Ye it could be.. or the light to close, oh n make sure u dont spray anywer on the plants when the lights are on because the light magnifies the water and can burn little spots... thats also what happend to mine at a young age but now ther nice!

  14. Very nice and bushy. I am thinking about LST when they are a bit bigger since i don't have to much space to work with. I think the spotting was due to spraying thanks for that.

  15. Ye ther coming on pretty well.. what do u mean by Lst them? Ive jus germinated some super silver haze, big bang and hawaiin snow.. 2 of each they should be good :)

  16. Low stress training. Its when you bend the main stalk down for better light penetration.

  17. So my plants are growing okay but the leaves are feeeling kind of dry and some havee cracked from me moving the plant around. Could this be overheating or nutes?

  18. Yeah you were right. Got 2 6500k for that i attached to the more powerful 110w 4000k bulb i have. Should have more blue light now =)

  19. Hey cr,
The "dry, cracking leaves" could definitely be from the miracle gro. Do they feel kind of thick and bumpy?

  20. I transplanted and turns out it had roots all the way to the bottom of the pot. Put it in a 5gallon pot and looks a bit better now.
