I was wondering if this master kush plant looks ok for 3.5 weeks, also could I get some advise on how I can top the plant. I got this from some weed I got a while back and decided to plant it so I'm not sure weather this is a male or female yet.
Looks beautiful! To top it you take the node on the top, gently cut the newest node on the top middle. I'd wait a few more days or a week to top, but that's just me.
Looks healthy but the stem seems a bit long from what i gather form the picture... maybe lower your light a bit. What are you using as a light source?
I'm using 3 florescent lights at the moment, I actually lowered the lights till it was about 8" away which worked well with the growth. 2of my lights on top have one warm and one cool bulb in each light, and the one on the side has 2 cool bulbs.
With compact flourescent bulbs you want them between 4-5" away from the plant for maximum efficiency. What will you be using for flowering as a light source? If CFL i would do some LST to maximize yield.
The warm bulbs I have in use are for flowering but I get good results with them during vegging using them along side the cool bulbs. When I get to the flowering cycle I'm gonna use the same light setup as I have now since it's all I got.
