  6. What are you trying to guilt trip me into posting? No man you're look great especially for a first time, keep up the journal it'll help answer your questions as thousands of people can read it.

PS...how bout some details? Lights? Soil? Nutes? Give us the goods!

  7. lol...

well im growing under a 250watt HPS light.

growing in high nutrition Miracle grow soil, (was using something else before i transplanted, and they love it better then the old soil, its done them some good)

using miracle grow fert every two weeks.

Grow light is on 24/7 at the moment as im gworing in an outdoor closet thats attatched to the house... and it can get cold at night and i reckon the plants wouldnt survive on 18/6. so i gotta get another timer for a heater. so i can set it for when the lighting goes off, the heater comes on.

botttom leaves a lil bit yellow on the tips of the leaves, but i cant seem to get rid of it.

    post an update tomorrow

  8. update now lol

  9. Hmmm yeah, you'll need a heater for flowering as it is pretty late in the year. Since they have vegged for 6 weeks or so, you should check the plants two or three branches down for presex flowers. If a strain will show sex in veg, this is the time they would show so you will know the sex before changing the light to 12/12. Good luck!

  10. Day 63,

    just put into flowering

something went wrong with the light and its been turned off for about an hour and a half, before i switched it bak on, will that stress the plants or anything?

    here's pics

feedback would be nice as no1 has really looked at my first grow :(

  11. Looking good for your first go man. How many watts you got shining down on them ladies? If you got the space throw some more lights in there but dont over do it or you might have a heat issue. Just my .2 cents :)

  12. look pretty good to me... maybe get 3 or 4 27w red spectrum CFL's to give light to the lower parts of the plants... they are really bushy and u will be thankful for the extra lighting when it comes time to harvest

  13. that looks like the plants I saw growing in a vid. i found on youtube

  14. 250 watt HPS light

where would i get some cfls in the uk?

and i changed my lighting now....

    also!!

something went wrong with the light yesterday and it was turned off for about an hour and a half, before i switched it bak on, will that stress the plants or anything?

  18. ok, i think i wonna clone soon, but where do i start?

    lol

  19. The plants look really healthy, I hope my plants look that nice when I get to that point.

I've never done any cloning myself, but I've seen it done and its pretty simple. Just take a small clipping from somewhere on the plant (2-3 nodes), cut the stem as close to a 45 degree angle as possible. Dip the cutting into some rooting hormone (gel or powder), and scrape 3 or 4 tiny lines in the rooting hormone where the roots will come out. Next just plant your cutting in whatever cloning medium you are using (peat/rockwool/soil/etc). Keep the plant well hydrated, and seal it in a humid environment until the roots get established.

There are threads on this site that give much better descriptions on how to clone, just do a couple searches and you'll find em.

  20. thanx man... i will look into it...

just hope i get 4 out of 4 in the female department.

if i get 4 males i will be gutted :(
