    Hi everybody!

This is my first post here at grasscity, but i have been at the forum for a while, getting info and reading up on the topic.

I now have a vegging area in my closet with 4 23w CFLs. 3 of them are 6500K and one is 2700K. I'm getting 3 new 6500K today... I also have a big fan blowing indirectly on the plants.

I am growing in soil in my closet. I will order a Hombox/Budbox in a week or two, for flowering. This will be supplemented by a 400w HPS, a C.filter and
    possibly some CFLs.

In the closet there are 6 plants at the moment. One is a Mazar x Afghan and was finished germinating and sprouted 28.4.2009. So the Mazar is soon to be 6 weeks old.
Later on i germinated 2 Big Buds (12.5) and after that 3 Northern Lights. I had them in a separate closet under a 220 LED fixture (the square ones, approx. 13w) wich was not enough light by far (streched as HELL), so I moved them and got the CFLs.

They are coming on great as far as i can tell, but the growth was stunted by a deficiency of some sort. The bottom leafs are yellowing badly, and I cut off the leafs at the bottom of the Mazar and of the Big Buds.

I'm using a organic fert. wich i was told was good for tomatoes (as I didn't want to tell her my real agenda). I don't have the NPK ratio now, but i can get it if needed. I also have a PH-metre and can check that too.

Since the last feeding 3 days ago, the top leaves have started to make a claw-shape on the Mazar. It seems the yellowing has stopped, not sure though. At least it's the three bottom leaf-sets that's yellow. The rest of the plant is green.

The Mazar is the biggest and has the most growth, but one of the Big Buds has almost caught up with it. And the weird thing is that this Big Bud specimen had some weird leaf-growth in the first weeks. Crooked leaves.... Looked like a freakin mutant... and thats what i called it, The Mutant. :p
But now it looks better than any of the others. This Big Bud showed no yellowing after I cut off the bottom leaves and exept for the crooked/curly leaves is very healthy.

The other Big Bud is of a completely different Phenotype. It Looked awesome the first two weeks, but now it had been burnt by the CFLs beeing to close. Also had quite a bit yellowing of the leaves and has yet to recover completely.

The Northern Lights was put in the closet a week or two after the Big Buds and are doing very well. Allmost no yellowing, just a touch at the bottom leaves. I have not cut them off, since it does not seem nessecary. They are all doing great. :D

But Im concerned the plants have some sort of deficiency due to the yellowing. And as mentioned above, it seems there is some stunted growth... Can't have that!
Should I cut off all of the yellowing leaves, add some more of a specific nutrient or what?

I have a 2-gallon bucket with lid for my mix of nutes. Will the Ph-levels drop over time? How long can I keep a solution with nutes (bucket is not seethrough)?

Any tips would be greately appreciated.

    UPDATE:

I checked the PH, and if my PH-metre is correct my tapwater is 7.7 and my water solution with nutes is 7.8

I know the PH of the soil is 6.3 and I did my best to test runoff-water it was at 7.0

Will try to balance the PH with some lemonjucie today, and water again.

The temp is also starting to be a problem. No extractionfan...
When I got home after work yesterday the temp was 35.5 deg C (96F) and my plants were really stressing. The Mazar was hanging like it was dead, One of the N.L. had leaves tacoing/curling upwards. The smaller Big Bud is now completely fucked, as the lights had fallen out of position and was clutching to the plant. It got some severe burns all over, but I trimmed the burnt leaves and made some light availiable to the new leafgrowth. Im almost sure it will survive (I'll prolly use it for clones and see what happens). The other Big Bud was in need of a little water, but other that that it was fine.

The Mazar was happy again 1 hour after watering it well. Looked at the N.L this morning and it seems the curling was due to heat stress. The Big Bud (the mutant) is praying and the only thing is the yellow bottom leaves. It really think it is due to PH since the same problem seems to be bothering all of my plants when they get like 2-3 weeks old: yellowing starting at the bottom and slowly working its way up.

Is it a PH-problem or a nute problem (too much or too little nutes)

Please HELP! Any advice is welcome...
