This is my first grow. Im a slight newb i guess you could say. 2 good bagseeds, i had 4 but 2 turned out to be male. Anywho this is where im at now. Started flowering on Dec. 13, fox farms of soil, grow big during veg and tiger bloom during flowering. Temps get about 67 low and 83 high, yikes!. But they look good so far. Shes under roughly 300 watts of CFL. Also unfortunately ive yet to be able to afford a Ph tester:/ Any input/advice/comments are all welcome! 341.JPG 348.JPG 340.JPG
Pretty sweet results with the cfl's.. Thats what i used myself for my first stealth grow using some midi bag seed.. Turned out pretty nice.. The buzz was freakin awesome and so was the taste.. +rep to you my friend.. Im subscribed and wish you large yeilds and good luck with your grow.. IMO The problem i learned from using the cfl's is that the bottom buds were feathery and not very good.. I mean it was better than some bunk, but hey the top buds rocked.. cfl's just not powerful enough.. Just try to keep them as close as you can to the lights.. The upgrades really make a difference now with cooling, SCRUBBING, and a good spectrum hid light for flowering.. Buds more dense and full for sure.. Note: Still veg with those cfl's.. Thanks! yea the lights are definetly between 3-6 inches. And id love to have an hps im sure when i get my own place in july itll be hps for sure. Im actually blessed with really good parents that understand marijuana and smoke themselves. They are not against it and are allowing me to give growing a shot one time As for the temps, is it unhealthy for my plants to have that kind of temp drop?
Wow man, not bad at all for not PH'ing. I HIGHLY recommend getting a good PH meter. it will save your ass I promise.

No problem.. Hope i can help.. Purchased the cabinet from a local hardware store.. I do believe Lowe's carries them as well. Reason i spent the money i did was for strength, longevity, and fire safe.. "Just in case cause im no electrician".. I liked this one because the shelves could be moved to where i wanted and it came with a lock and key.. Just some tin snips, a drill and an idea and it came together like a charm.. Amigo, Nice job, especially for only CFL! Somehow I think you are more talented than you give yourself credit for. Proper PH is very beneficial to the end results of your grow as it allows the plant to ingest the nutrients that you are adding to the grow medium. You must have some fairly good water where you are located (perhaps you are growing with rain water or naturally collected water). Regardless, for $10 - $15 dollars you can buy a litmus paper testing kit for testing PH. Cheap, super easy and accurate enough for quality results! Cheers and good luck to all, Bonzai Billy

Awesome, thats exactly what i was looking for. As for watering, im only using tap water, but i allow it to sit 24 hours open container before my babies drink it up
Always a good idea to leave your tap water out over night to help evaporate the chlorine out of it (if your water is coming from a treated source). You have obviously done your research and you are starting to reap the rewards, soon you will be blazing and you will never buy another gram again. Peace to you brother and best of luck always!
