This is my first time ever growing anything! I'm not sure how into this I will get. So I have decided to start out on a budget project. My first plant will just be a bag-seed while waiting for better ones. Note: I will be updating this main post each time I make a new sub post. This will allow the ability to view it all in one instead of spread out everywhere. Update, I can no longer add more pictures on this post. So I will be linking each of the logs from now on to it's matching post. Looking good I subbed up and if you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll help if I can. Grow journal
And you already know I'm putting my vote in on the deluxe ph test kit as it's almost half the price and hasn't hurt my buds any not like it matters much anyhow the other stuff will work great too lol Grow journal
I think I'm starting to realize what it feels like to be a father. I'm so proud of the life I created! My First Grow Ever! Journal
Bring the humidity up to about 60% while it is sprouting. It will help a lot as the roots are not well estabished yet, so with higher humidity, it can take more water through the leaves.
I have been trying hard to raise it but can't maintain a high humidity for long. I don't have a humidifier. I've just been using boiling water. Anything else I can do to raise it? My First Grow Ever! Journal
Don't worry about it I have veg'd and germed in 15-30% humidity fine... worst comes to worst you can always mist your plants with plain water every so often until the roots are more established but hell even rooting clones I usually just stick to watering and have no problem so I definitely wouldn't go out of the way to raise humidity that high if you can't do it for cheap Grow journal
However if you have 20 bucks laying around go to wallyworld and buy a small coolmist humidifier Grow journal
True. You can go well off with lower humidity. Sometimes I forget that not everyone has random stuff laying around lol
I have a lot of random stuff just not that. I have a dehumidifier that's nice and loud! Its perfect for covering the sound of the fans. However I cant run it because the humidity is so low already.
These are by no means large lol raises my humidity around 15-20% in my Grow space though definitely better than nothing Grow journal
Damn.. My humidifier cost me $150. Got it because my dog had a cold that could kill him. Lol. It actually saved his life (and the tube they put down his throat lmao). If the animal has a really bad cold, they don't eat. that's why Anywayyyyy, here is a $15 humidifier:
Yeah cheaper ones are by no means great for large rooms but if you can section off a smallish area it works great imo. But for entire rooms yeah they can be pricey Grow journal
I just found a Vicks Vaporizer in my closet! It spits steam like flipping crazy! I was sweating in no joke 10 seconds. I think I'm going to just water it with steam for a weak lol.
Sweet. Don't let humidity go over 70% while they are small. When they are bigger, with multiple nodes, lower it to 50-60%. Then in flower, keep it as low as possible to prevent mould Good luck!
