I'm about 3 weeks into my grow project in my closet, and while I had enough light for one plant, two were scrapped since I took too long to get more lights. I'm starting late but will be trying to update every few days or daily and appreciate all and any advice; my budget is pretty small, before you recommend a tent and HID lights. Lighting: I have a warm white cfl around 1600 lumens, two cool whites around 1100-1200 lumens, and a socket converter with a warm white cfl around 800 lumens for supplemental lighting to lower leaves and branches. Planning to add 3 more of my biggest bulb for a 4 light mini sun above the plant(s), then two more cool whites for supplemental lighting on the sides for lower leaves and branches. Soil: I have a bag of soil from Walmart, hyponex by Scott. Pictures with nutrient info in picture included- my plant looks like it needs a new pot and I'm very open to suggestions on what bag of soil to buy next to benefit the plant more, setting a $35 budget there for now. I have 4 seeds in a pill bottle germinating, will add them and include in the log as necessary. I'm also using dyna-gro foliage pro nutrition, in my spray bottle and I'm using the production mixture when watering every third water (water, water, feed). Spraying 2-4 times a day. Forgot to mention, I'm 24 hours on nonstop lighting for vegetation, getting dyna-gro bloom mix for flowering and switching to 12/12 for flowering, but about how long should vegetation take and how do you know about when to flower? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
If your on you're on that much of a budget try a nice sized cardboard box lined with Mylar bro! So u can take advantage of the light u do have
