This is my plans for my grow box (to be constructed in the next week or so). It's a gutted out computer case. I will have lined the whole inside with cardboard (trying to cover up any cracks which may leak light) and then white paper on top of that. At the base I will hopefully have some sort of plastic bottom in case of water leakage. There will be two fans (hopefully), one blowing in and the other blowing out for air circulation. If I can figure it out, the lights and fans will be hooked up through the power supply (if anyone has any experience with this, I'd like a few tips!). I plan on growing the Lowryder strain, and there should be enough room to fit 3 good sized plants. Now, being this is a small space, will simple floros be good enough? I'm thinking two compact floros should be able to handle it in that small of a space (although I may add some more on the bottom). What are your opinions? Also, what is a good small unit I can use for odor control?
Uhm...I think you may need a bit more planing...I mean plants can be grown in small spaces but If your using a computer case, by the time u add the soil (or res for hydro) and lights all ur height is gone. Not to mention 3 plants sure won't fit (yes even low rider). Sorry to say but gonna need to go bigger or wait till you can.
I doubt I'll have much problems with lowryder being it doesn't even grow over a foot? However, you are right.. I might have to get a bigger case being my case is only about 14 inches tall and I wasn't thinking about soil until today when I was setting it up.... However, I should be able to get my hands on a new bigger case easily...
