If you're going for a short bushy plant with even canopy you might consider topping it. But it might be a little late for that. It just might be hard to get the light close to the lower tied branches with that main stem shooting up so tall. You could also slowly tie the main stem over. Looks like a happy girl tho! Grats
iv never seen a plant that looked like that before.. and what kind of nutes are you using.. Im not gonna lie that plant looks good man, im just curious to find out a little more about you girl, ill be following this plant.. Wont have a problem recognizing it Happy Growing -Rip
I'm leaning (pun intended) toward that being my next move. I gave it nutes for the first time a week ago (1/4 strength FF big bloom and tiger bloom) and I got some very slight burn. I have read the autos can be sensitive to nutes so I don't see myself attempting to feed a lot. I germed her using the paper towel method then she went straight into the pot and FFOF soil shes in now. As the lower bud sights started to grow out a little I tied them down so the were sticking out horizontal and what u see is the after math. I'm not sure if i'm going to try and tie the top down now or if I will just keep tying the new bud sights and fan leaves like I have been doing. I'v spent a lot of time doing my research and spending some money but I bet the end result is all worth it!!! Sweet hobby that hopefully ends in sweet buds.
Love it! Next time (or now if you are brave) you might consider supercropping that main stem. I supercropped my second grow (pics in sig 2) with awesome results. Just pinch it where you want it to bend over. Pinch it round and round until it gets "mushy". You will feel the outer shell break. Then just lay it over. In 2 or 3 days it will heal and more tops will start growing upwards. Looks great though!
Next time when you LST start from the top. You are going for an even canopy. Tie them over about at a 90 degree angle next time and continue to do so until budding (even past it if you wish). Also if you are using a 400w and only have that plant it seems a lot of light is getting wasted. Throw some more up asap. 400w can cover 3ft x 3ft area and if you are not using most of it you are wasting light.
I'm taking baby steps so I can get in my groove. I' using my freebees from a attitude order first just so I can earn my green thumb. This is only my second plant (dinafem roadrunner went male on me) I see two BF LSD under the 400W next.
You are better off wasting seeds then light/time expecially since you are doing just fine. Seeds are like $10 each. Time can't be replaced. There is light for more plants. I suggest you step up and use it . Doesn't look like you will have trouble anyways looks like you did some research before growing. Edit: realized the next ones you wanted to grow arn't autoflowers. I suggest you start them 2-3 weeks before you plan on harvesting.
Wow that is one empty room . Start your plants 4-5 weeks instead I'd say and heavy lst (I would go to the 5 week side myself because for the first 2 weeks there isn't much growth). Their should still be plenty of room. I would think 5 weeks and probably be perfect for you to pull the auto then flip the switch to 12/12. Should fill your room nice during flowering with 2 plants. This guy has a 400w and his plants are 25 days from seed in the second picture. Huge difference from 7 days previously. So I think 5 weeks should be perfect. http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-g...row-black-domina-stawberry-cough-bagseed.html Edit: I also recommend cutting any lower growth on the plant if the room is going to be very full. Do this in veg mostly or very early budding. Expect 1 month of veg about during budding(give or take depending on the strain) and much more leaf.
wow dude, great results! definitely alot taller than id like (your light is probably real high up right?), but everything else is awesome! ill keep checking back
We're at about the same point...except you've got the auto. I only vegged a little over 3weeks. I noticed huge growth from my plant I topped. 5 weeks would be more than enough I think ...might even be faster with a 400 w mh Never used Mh tho...so I don't know I'm subbed looks really nice What size pot are they in...I skimmed the posts but district see it...super baked so I coulda missed it too lol
My set up is complete!!!! I just finished installing proper ventilation and oder control and I can tell you that a good carbon filter works well. The difference in smell is like the difference between night and day.
