I have been a card holder for going on 2 years now and have had a licence to grow the whole time. Well I did a few small grows with some half assed equipment a couple times. Well I moved to a new - more convenient - place. Now I have a 10' x 10' room that is all mine. My plan is to build a 6' x 4' table with 14" sides. I'm going to fill it with dirt and pearlite and grow 30 plants sea of green style. I also have 2 closets that I am going to grow mother plants in. So far I have invested in a growzilla dual bulb reflector, 2 LED UFOs, a few florescent lights, a 1000 watt MH, a 1000W HPS, 2 1000 watt Xtrasun switchable ballasts, Roots Organic soil, pearlite, and nutes. I also know i need to get things like inline fans, oscillating fans, PVC pipe for drainage, mylar, duct work, plastic sheeting, and painters drop cloths. I wanna make sure i have all my bases covered. I don't really know if i got everything. I may also b planning on co2.
Not completely true. If you're using a big enough space and don't plant on vegging until your plants become giants you will be okay with such a large table. You may run into trouble having SOO many plants though. I'd go with 1 ft^3 per plant, so 24 plants. But, you can probably pull it off if you watch the amount of water they're given and make sure none are males. As far as having your bases covered, you seem to be doing alright. Only thing I can think of right now that you haven't listed is a Ph meter. Other then that, you should be okay.
Oops I totally forgot to list that. I actually have a 3 way Ph meter, hygrometer, light tester. Thank you for your replies.
