sup everybody xG420 here this is my first post and just thought id throw sum pics up of my first grow sucsess! tho im still in flowering i have been using only 2 T5s 2' blue spectrum floros and as soon at the seeds popped in water, i put them into starter pods and as soon at they got 2 leaves they went in to my dresser, now i didnt use any special soil or nutrients... this is all just light an water..... all natural!!! now what kind of seeds? well they came from a hermi and the strain was ice but got pollinated along with super girl (which is amazingly huge bud!) and sensi star (great tasting!) so me starting out was thinking these were combinations of buds but after watching them grow they started to show how they grow and which ones are quicker and slower and thicker an thinner... from my knowledge i have the strains ice, super girl an sensi star. so i have only been using 2 t5s 2 ft. lights, manure sand soil mix ( sum stuff we picked up at a garden shop with no fertilizer!) i just want sumthing to hold and drain water and this stuff is amazing! i had them in veg for 3 1/2 - 4 weeks lights 24/7 and started to flower about 1 - 1 1/2 weeks now lights 12/12 and i can see lil baby buds with a hair curling out in the nodes! but my babys are all females thank god! got lucky 3 seeds 3 girls and even better! ones a indica ones a sativa and ones a indica/sativa! so for now no trimming just want them to go and get my first crop goin.. any pointers or question be more then glad to help! for more pics or anything just ask least i can say is no... but this is a short bugget grow only cost me 30$ for 2 t5s and 1$ for pots free soil(outside) old dresser and water but i am goin to turn my dresser into a clone machine and have a little spot 3' by 2' by 8' so good for a flower room an soon to get an hps but i love what these t5s do! my next grow op. will be purple ak-47 and head wreck new strain in the streets here ... jack herer train wreck crossed with super girl amazing stuff really mixs yur worrds up becarful hahaha soon to be Dr. Purp haha will get pics very soon im on this all the time! feel free to send priv messages
your lights like they are too high... maybe thats why the one in the white bucket is stretched? The light should be no more then 2 inches from the top of the plants. Also you should have 50 watts per plant during veg.
the one on the left is short an skinny cause my brother kept switchin light back an forth and ill shorten the lights a little closer thanks!!!!! anything helps
T5's run really cool, some people get the lights so close that the leaves are almost touching the bulb
