My final run (until legalization) - In House Genetics - Slurricane #7

    Hello all,

    Excited to share the results of my final run. First off, if you have never heard of In House before, they are pretty sought after and not always easy to get. I was fortunate enough to get these seeds and wanted to use them for my last grow because the strain has a lot of hype. I have never spent so much on seeds before, but I got to say - these were worth every penny. I wish I still had a grow room but with my first child due here in a month or so it was time to make some changes (the grow room is now a nursery). After some back and forth with the wife, we compromised and she was nice enough to allow me a corner to use a nice little tent (i think it is 5 feet tall and maybe 2 feet wide).

    Anyways, I don't think I have a had a plant grow with such low maintenance and little issues. She didn't have an issue with nutrients or really anything. The plant on the right had a bit of foxtailing towards the end but in a tent setup there isn't always an easy solution.

    I had these babies germinated / sprouted and planted on Jan 10th. I used 5 gallon containers and was hoping to yield 6 - 8 ounces. I ended up with 10+!

    Just like every other breeder In House has some fire and they have some duds. I grew one that was crazy pretty but quality and yield were shit. Blunicorn is one i will grow again for sure though.

    Well they are about 10x more than i normally spend on seeds so i would be pretty upset if it was a dud haha

    I'm curious why there isn't a "Mr Ed" strain to pay homage to Rosenthal like Jack Herer.

    This was IHG and believe it or not, it was a straight up dud. Pretty as they come, but thats the only good thing I have to say about it.

    Dont get me wrong, it was weed. It had a decent amount of THC. But yield was terrible. It was leafy. And the taste was not one I enjoy.

    That's a bummer! These buds smell like grape gasoline. Really excited to see what a month in jars does for it.

    Yeah but I remember you saying purple weed taste gross or something to that effect so I don’t know what to think by the pic but I’m willing to bet it was better than your leading us on to believe

    My standards are pretty high. Sometimes i walk into a dispensary just to get a good laugh.
