My experience with using honey to roll up joints and blunts

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by peace-frog, Sep 15, 2009.

  1. Yeah so I've seen a few threads on grasscity concerning using honey to roll up, usually blunts but also with joints. I really wanted to give it a try.

So i rolled a spliff with honey, just using a nice thin even layer of honey on a rolling paper. It wasn't all that messy and even made it easier to roll. It really came out as the definition of perfect. I lit it up and really enjoyed it. The spliff burned about twice as slow and it was great. I probably got about 20 hits out of it, and there wasn't even that much bud in it.

Next i convinced my friends to roll up our next dutch using honey. Of course the were pretty skeptical but we did it anyway. I put another nice layer on the inside leaf and we rolled it normally from there. It was great, and burned at least twice as slow. Its a great feeling to see the ember light up when you hit it and then dim again burning no visible amount of paper. Its really a better way to conserve your weed and it can get passed around way more times. Sharing is caring right. We did this with 2 more duchies that day (hell yes) and now my friends wont roll a blunt without honey unless there's none around.

Extremely satisfying, a great experience overall and I really think that everyone out there should give it a try because you really wont be disappointed. Also as an added bonus, it gives it a nice, and mild flavor that's not really harsh in any way. Enjoy and post your thoughts on it if you go through with it! :smoke:

  2. i've tried honey blunts before a couple times. until i heard that the honey carmelizes and goes into your lungs. might not be too good

  3. yeah I liked them to but I dunno the carmelization thing scares me... but for me probably doesnt matter much i dont smoke to many blunts

  4. its not actual honey

honey oil is a type of BHO oil.

  5. oh i didnt realize they were talking about hash.

people do use real honey to make blunts burn slower.

  6. No, he was talking about actualy honey, not honey oil.

  7. Yeah where did you get "oil" from??

I just read it and not one "oil" came up.

    back to topic.
using honey isnt bad in the long run. If you did it ever day. or a few times a week yes there could be some healthy concerns. but Once in awhile it is always fun. Really worth it when you have a 4g blunt and 8 friends. It will last quite awhile.

but Nice you know some people are trying this more and more It really is a tasty and interesting way to smoke.

  8. Honey fucks up your lungs when smoked.

  9. i take a 2x shot glass and fill it up half way with my fave alco ( whisky ) and the rest with honey and microwave it for 10 sec. the i wet the cigar stick( dutch master not a swisher ) fill it with weed and re wrap it then let dry and smoke. shit is bomb.

  10. wow ive never heard of this before. So basicly u just mix some honey into the blunt with the weed and roll it up?
i kinda wana try it but im afraid it'll fuck up my lungs or somethin

  11. im not really worried. we all smoke enough weed for our lungs to be fucked up.

  12. honey is also great for sealing blunts if you ever have one that is being difficult

also makes it burn slower and tastes good

  13. Oh I mustve been high when I wrote the above, only thing ive ever used is some aunt jemina syrup

  14. All my experiences with honey coated papes/blunts have been funny and successful. Honey definitely makes papes burn slower and blunts as well but not that much. Just be careful of the dripping as the ting' burns and make sure you fix canoes.

It can be harsh thats why i only choose to sticky things up a bit once in a while.

The method i use is: Get honey and drip a small amount(not to much so you dont soak ur weed) of honey onto a knife. Take the knife and slide even amounts of honey on maybe 3 or 4 lines on the joint. Leave room at the toking area of the ting' so you dont sticky your hands while smoking. Then either use ur finger (works best) to glide the honey around evenly or use the knife after cleaning off any extra honey.

Hope this helps any curious people :p

    One love

  15. ive smoked one with honey and it was good but

why smoke sugar? cant be good.

  16. Inhaling combusted sugar rips holes into your lungs. Having respiratory problems isn't worth a blunt or joint burning an extra few minutes

  17. I'm allergic to honey lol
My lungs like fill up with fluid.
    Nice.

  18. your welcome ;)

  19. so what about hookahs then, Shisha is made with molasses is it not? Honey and molasses are pretty damn close.
