Getting 31-40% taken off the paper for having misquoted sources seems pretty harsh. untrustworthy sources sounds like shes anti-marijuana. unless you were supposed to get your sources from a specific place and quote them in the paper a certain way and you didnt do it right... But basically it looks like whoever graded your paper was anti-marijauana. teachers, especially women teachers, can be pretty dumb sometimes. ive grown up my entire life thinking im smarter than half the bitches who taught me.
Easy way to tell if a source is untrustworthy: If it says marijuana isn't dangerous - untrustworthy If it says marijuana is dangerous - trustworthy
Honestly, your sources were cited quite poorly... and the first source you quoted was misquoted. Thats a pretty huge issue for a research paper. Also, you used about.com as one of your sources - that isn't a credible source. Your in-text citations are sporadic, and there was a lot of unsubstantiated information in there. Is this for college or high school? I probably would have given it a B/B- for high school, C/C- for college. I'm assuming it's a high school class.... but if you really feel like your professor was partial in grading, take it to the principal or department chair and talk with them. They will likely be more reasonable.
