My Drug test story..... I passed!

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by Dawk23, Dec 31, 2019.

  1. Hey everyone,
So the past two weeks I was supeeeeer nervous for a preemployment drug test I had to take. Reson why is because I’m in healthcare and I failed I would have my license suspended, which I just received after passing my boards. I’m 6”, 245lbs. I probably work out about 3x per week. I also drink quite a bit during the past few months. About a pitcher of beer a night. Anyways, From May-November I been a daily toker. I began with about 2-3 blunts a day and dropped down to about 1-1.5 blunts a night after September. I took a break from November 11-21 as I knew I would start applying to jobs. However, I caved and smoked 3.5grams over a weekend span November 22-25. After that I was clean. On about day 14 I took a @Home test that showed negative with faint line. Three days later i took another test and the line was a little more noticeable. At this time I started filling out applications. Well lucky or (unluckily for me which I was thinking at the time) I got a quick turn around from one of the applicantions because I previously interned at the facility. I went through the whole interview process and was offered the job. This process only took a week. After accepting the job HR promptly sent instructions for a drug test. The test was at MD now but sent out to Alere toxicology in VA. I only had 2 days to complete the test so I pushed to the 2nd day. On the day of the test I was 24 days clean. After the waiting began.... and let me tell I was super stressed because If I failed, It would have been a pain in the ass and expensive AF to reinstate my license. Anywho, it took about 2 weeks but I finally got confirmation that I am cleared to start. Just wanted to share my experience because I read through quite a few posts on here and didn’t find much to ease the anxiety! Hope this finds someone well. Peace toke nation.
