My two are also a pain in the arse. I'm having a time with them now digging the flower beds and newly planted trees up right now. My female enjoys digging up freshly "planted" cat poop and having a fine meal of it, the nasty bitch. The damn cats are dropping loads everywhere and the dogs are going around digging 'em back up.
G'day to you too critter! The only down unders eh?!! When Xena went through her digging stage, I found that filling the holes with pepper and curry powder made her think twice. She'd stick her nose in her favorite hole take a big sniff and sneeze like hell. Today I have no problems with her. Almost 5 years old now. No more pulling clothes off the line or eating the sprinklers. I never caught her eating cat poop though. Lucky for her!!
I've found that if you feel the holes with their own doggy poop that'll stop 'em from digging back up.
Hey BPP, I never heard of putting their poop in the holes. I'll have to try that out. My dogs should be in the dirt buisness. I have to fill in the holes before i cut the grass.
